This binder contains a printed copy of the Administrative Record (AR) index and a set of 3 DVDs with a searchable index of documents and the documents themselves. Each DVD contains NAVSTA Newport site documents from a specific period of time.

This Administrative Record (AR) is the collection of documents supporting cleanup decisions at sites managed under the Installation Restoration Program (IRP) and Munitions Response Program (MRP) at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Newport. These programs have been implemented by the Navy to address contaminant release areas or "sites" which are subjected to management under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Developement and maintenance of the AR is part of the Navy's active efforts to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive information to the stakeholders and the public on the IRP and MRP activities at NAVSTA Newport. The documents that comprise the AR have been compiled onto a set of three DVDs contained in this binder. The Navy plans to update this collection of DVDs each year with documents released during the previous year. The AR can also be found on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) website. This website is updated constantly throughout the year and therefore has the most recent information.
